In such a connected world, we are more lonely than ever. We're starving for real connection, and women are paying a hefty price.
We are here to change that, one cup at a time.
Welcome, sister! I’m Jody, the founder of the Overcaffeinated Life. Let me start off by saying, girl, I see you, and I’m rooting for you.
Us women are the keeper of the calendars, kisser of boo-boos, cheerleaders, and, let's be real, the family uber drivers. We're the soft spot to land on when things go wrong, and the smile waiting for them when they do their best and deserve recognition.
And it’s exhausting AF! #doingallthethings
To add to that, I started to notice that in today's world, even though we are more “connected” than ever, we have to work harder than ever to find TRUE connection. They tell us it "takes a village," but ladies, it seems the village has disappeared… and I think we need to bring it back.
I started this coffee business because coffee is that connection in so many of our lives that brings us together. The warm cup of coffee extended to you by a friend, the deep belly laughs you share with your sister over cold brew, the oh-so-precious quiet moments in the morning that allow you to connect back to yourself...
Coffee has the ability to connect us.
You see, I struggled with true connection as a young wife and mother.
My husband and I were high school sweethearts in every definition of the word. When we got married, he was joining the military, and as soon as reality hit me we were already off to a new place. Leaving our home town and being plopped in middle of a brand new, unknown place left us starving for connection.
We needed connection.
We all need connection.
Now, I’m on a mission to create an amazing community of women where we can support each other, create a safe space for truth and honesty (because motherhood ain’t all sunshine and rainbows), and build the connections we are all starving for...
one great cup of coffee at a time.
And while doing this, you might as well be sipping on a damn good one, because life is too damn short for bad coffee. Can I get an Amen sister?
It’s time to break down the walls, get real for a hot second, and embrace a community that welcomes you... all of you. Not just the highlight reels that social media sees. We want your truest, most authentic self.
Like you, our coffee is real, unique, and intentionally crafted. Every single bag of our coffee is brewed in freshly roasted, made-to-order batches.
Because momma, you deserve only the best.
And trust me, we know mommas: if it ain’t easy, it ain’t happening. That's why our coffee is delivered directly to your door, with the option of subscription, (hyperlink this) so you don't even have to think about placing your next order. It just shows up for you - waiting on your front doorstep like a fairy godmother.
We are proud to say we have partnered with Temecula Coffee Roasters to offer you fresh, small batch coffee that is all ethically sourced and hand-roasted just for you. You can rest assured that not only is your coffee amazing, but that you're also helping support coffee farmers around the world and fuel their dreams too!
It will delight your tastebuds, warm your soul, and serve as the perfect excuse to schedule that coffee date with a friend (that, let’s be honest, you don’t see nearly enough).
If you are ready to connect with other women like you and be a part of a community that welcomes you (and is fueled by great coffee), then pull up a chair and get comfy, because you are in the right place my friend.
I’m so glad you're here, and I hope you find the coffee that speaks to your soul and your tastebuds.
Let’s get connected - for REAL!
All the love in the world,

All the reruns of Friends! But Golden Girls is a close second.
Where can we find you on a Friday night?
In the fall you can find us under the stadium lights of our small town, screaming our hearts out for our favorite team. In the summer we're soaking up all the rays at the beach and enjoying that salty air goodness and gentle ocean breeze.
